You will own the top of the funnel for arkavix's engineering hiring — the most consequential job in the firm. You will source senior engineers who can walk into client rooms on day one, and you will run the process with a bar that we would rather miss a quarter than lower.
what you'll do
- chevron_right source and qualify principal and staff engineers across indian and remote markets
- chevron_right run the first conversation; set expectation on bar, process, and reality of the work
- chevron_right shepherd candidates through a multi-stage loop without losing them
- chevron_right partner with founders to calibrate the bar each quarter
- chevron_right build a durable pipeline we can draw from in two quarters, not two weeks
- chevron_right contribute to employer brand through realistic, non-gimmicky content
what we're looking for
- chevron_right 5+ years recruiting for senior engineering roles at a high bar
- chevron_right have personally sourced and closed at the staff / principal level
- chevron_right understand the difference between distributed systems and devops roles
- chevron_right write clearly; refuse boilerplate outreach
- chevron_right comfortable pushing back on hiring managers when the role is wrong
- chevron_right want to work somewhere the hiring bar is the product
