Nuvoread Privacy Policy

Nuvoread is a local text-to-speech browser extension. It reads selected webpage text aloud using a local MLX Audio server configured by the user.

Data handled by the extension

• Selected webpage text used for text-to-speech playback.
• Local settings, including the server URL and reading speed.

How data is used

• Selected text is sent to the user-configured local TTS server only to generate audio playback.
• Settings are stored locally in Chrome using chrome.storage.local.

Nuvoread does not collect data on developer-operated servers, sell user data, use user data for advertising, use analytics, or transfer user data to third parties.

The use of information received from Chrome APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
